What you submit

  • Requirement description

Purpose: to route your request to commercial refrigeration engineers and cold storage operators covering your area, so they can contact you about your enquiry.
Legal basis: your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box on the quote form.
Recipients: the engineers and operators matched to your coverage area. We do not sell your data to any other party, list, or broker.

TECHNICAL DATA

What our systems log

  • IP address (spam prevention)
  • Timestamp of request
  • Browser user agent

Purpose: security, spam filtering, and deduplication (preventing duplicate submissions).
Legal basis: legitimate interests (security of our systems and quality of our service).
Retention: 12 months, then deleted.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Retention periods

Quote request data (contact details, requirement description): retained for 24 months from submission, then permanently deleted. This allows matched firms to follow up on your request and allows us to resolve any disputes about whether a request was fulfilled.

Technical logs (IP, timestamps): retained for 12 months, then deleted.

You can request deletion at any time (see below) — we will remove your data from active systems within 72 hours and from backups within 30 days.

COOKIES

What this site uses

This website does not set advertising cookies, analytics tracking cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies. The only data stored is what you explicitly submit through the quote request form, plus standard server logs for security purposes.

If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and a cookie notice will appear before any non-essential cookies are set.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Updates

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes (new recipients, longer retention, new purposes) will be highlighted at the top of the page for 30 days.
